Emily grew up in Missoula, Montana, and relocated to the Mission Valley 10 years ago, now living in St. Ignatius. She graduated from Alfred State College with an AAS degree in Court and Realtime Reporting in 2009. She immediately started working as a freelance court reporter in Missoula, Montana, upon graduation and has continued to do so since.

Living in St. Ignatius, she primarily works in Missoula and Lake County, but has traveled all over the state and out of state for clients.
